Education

I earned a Liberal Studies B.A. and multiple subjects teaching credential from San Fransciso State University. I received a M.A. in Educational Technology from Touro University. I hold a SDAIE (California SB1969 "Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English") certificate. I received a GATE/Differentiated Instruction certificate from Fresno Pacific University and the Solano Office of Education in June 2012. I believe in an integrated approach to teaching and learning. Students will experience reading, writing, science, social studies, math, and drama while exploring a topic or theme. I encourage creativity and imagination!

 

Outside of Teaching

I enjoy hiking in the outdoors, gardening in my backyard, geo-caching, volunteering at Rockville Hills Park, supporting the Miami Dolphins, managing a fantasy football team, listening to music from Pop to Classic Rock, collecting carnivorous plants, drinking hot tea, and savoring the toffee of a Heath Bar.
